Emergency Evacuation Guidance for DOC Employees
Department of Commerce employees who work and/or reside in designated disaster areas of Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama and Texas may receive guidance for excused work absence due to Hurricanes Katrina and Rita through their agency Human Resources Management Offices. Provisions in the Department's Leave and Pay Handbooks provide direction for employees affected by the recent natural disasters in coping with these tragedies.
