AGO Announces the Online Launch of the NOAA Acquisition Process Guide (APG)

November 14, 2008 - The NOAA APG is a web-enabled guide designed by AGO to assist NOAA Program Officials and Acquisition Personnel in obtaining best value business solutions to meet NOAA mission requirements. The NOAA APG houses process and regulatory guidance, tools in the form of templates and samples, and hyperlinks to additional information to promote consistency and standardization across the field, reduce variation, and open communication channels across NOAA to share best practices and lessons learned.

The NOAA APG will be updated as changes occur within the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Department of Commerce (DOC), and NOAA acquisition regulations, policies, and procedures.
